Biomechanics & Mechatronics (former Biomechanical Solutions) was founded in 2002 at Ioannina, Greece with the aim to become the leader in Biomechanical research equipment and started to carefully building up its basket of companies related to biomechanics research equipment. The first companies to represent were the world leader in their associated products, Vicon Bertec and Noraxon, while the first customer was the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki who purchased a 6 camera 612 Vicon system.
In the year 2004, moved its premises to Karditsa, Greece and expanded its activities with more partners, while it was selected as one of the few companies to be presented during the 2004 Olympic games in the ABC avent organised by the Ministry of Development
In the year 2008 the company started a new activity in the orthotics industry after the aggreement to construct orthotic insoles using the Amfit technology, which is based on the foot morphology rather than the foot pressure distribution. In the same year the company officially started beeing inlolved in the European Funding by taking part in various funding applications. In the same year exported its first product in France.
In the year 2009 the company was renamed as Biomechanics and Mechatronics to reflect the momentum of the company in the mechatronics area.
Biomechanics and Mechatronics serves not only Greece but most of the SouthEastern European countries as well East Asia and north Africa.
